This research work was on the evaluation of the basic characteristics of Moringa oleifera seed powder concrete (MOSPC), and the flexural strength and compressive strength relationship. This was established using a concrete mixture of 1: 1.7: 2.5, with a cement content of 420 kg-m3, fine and coarse aggregate of 708 kg-m3 and 1062 kg-m3, respectively with a water-cement ratio (w/c) of 0.5. This was used to cast concrete cubes (100 x 100 mm) and beam of dimensions 150 x 150 x 500 mm, and cured for 90 days in a water tank under laboratory conditions. The MOSP was used to replace cement from 0 to 5 % by wt. The evaluation on the statistical characteristics on the data collected on the experiments for compressive and flexural strengths showed that the addition of MOSP to concrete improved the workability and the hydration process. This was reflected in the strength development of MOSP-concrete, and the strong correlation and level of significance observed with the variables (mixture and age). The values of the modulus of rupture (MOR) obtained are in the range of 3.8 to 5.6 kN-m2; this was at the optimum replacement of 0.2 %. At this level, the value of the flexural strength was 20 % of the compressive strength.
