A Single-Point Piezoresistive Sensing Model For Wearable Electronic Clothing

A single-point piezoresistive sensor can be used to accurately measure the pressure change of a single point in real time, so as to realize the purpose of human micro motion detection. In this paper, multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTS) were uniformly dispersed in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) precursor, and the piezoresistive conductive paste was prepared by ultrasonic dispersion and heating stirring. The conductive paste is solidified in the middle of two crossed extended carbon fiber tow to form a single point piezoresistive sensor with sandwich structure, and a piezoresistive model based on the contact of conductive points in elastic medium is established. The experimental results showed that when the concentration of MWCNTS is 0.5%, the single point piezoresistive sensor has good strain characteristics and stable cycle characteristics, and the prediction of piezoresistive sensor model is consistent with the experimental results. The research results will help to guide the application of single point piezoresistive sensor in electronic skin, wearable electronic devices, flexible human-computer interaction and other fields.
